We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
The school has a very generous and active parent body which assists and supports the school in a variety of ways both financially and through volunteer work. The formal parent bodies are the Advisory Council and the Parent and Friends Association (P&F). The P&F is responsible for coordinating the uniform shop, Fun Food Day, Book Club, parish cake stall and the ‘Kiss and Go’ zone. The Class Parent Reps are a subgroup of the P&F Association. This group has a coordinator who is part of the P&F Executive Team.
Communication with the parent body is through the school’s Compass application which provides access to the school newsletter, student reports, parent/teacher conferences and any other information concerning a range of events and activities.
